Stores Operative
To work within the stores department team to provide an efficient stores service, including:
Receipt of stock products from supplier
Issue of stock products to personnel
Line feeding to production lines as required, preventing stock-outs
Progress chasing as required
Updating computerised stock record
Liaison with other departments
This is a development position with the possibility of progression within the department.
Applicants should:
have some experience in a similar role, i.e:
stores function in a manufacturing environment
line feeding
computerised stores environment
be confident and able to communicate at all levels
be computer literate, with experience of Microsoft word, excel and outlook
A FLT licence, preferably Reach Truck, would be advantageous
Contracts Engineer
Managing projects in all aspects from initial enquiry to order receipt to project completion.
Achieving the required margin on each project through correct management of all aspects.
Being flexible in all areas of the role to help achieve our targets and grow the business further.
Candidates must:
- have experience in managing fast-paced projects from £5k up to £350k, both from within the office environment and while on site or travelling.
- be computer literate, with experience in Microsoft Excel and Word being essential.
- have a full driving licence
The ability to use Autocad and Microsoft Access would be a bonus but is not essential as training can be given.
Experience in working within the retail or construction sectors is preferable but not essential.
Trainee / Intermediate Estimator
To train/develop further into this role, which will ultimately involve:
Dealing with incoming enquiries
Preparation of estimates and quotations in a timely manner
Responsible for chasing / following up quotes
Administration support for other departments as required
The successful applicant:
may have some experience in a similar role, although it is more important to show an eagerness to develop in the aluminium shopfront systems and roller shutters industry
Should be computer literate – ideally with experience of Word, Excel and Outlook,
Should be articulate and numerate,
Be able to organise and prioritise workload,
Fabricator
To carry out the fabrication, manufacture & assembly of products.
The successful applicant will:
Have previous experience in a similar role, e.g aluminium windows, doors, shopfronts and curtain walling,
Be able to read drawings and use manual and pneumatic metal fixing tools.
A driving licence is preferred.

Refrigeration Pipefitter
Within our busy manufacturing facility, typical duties will include:
Pipefitting Copper Pipe, Brazing / Silver Soldering, Copper Pipe Bending, Refrigeration system layout
The successful candidate should:
- have pipefitting experience in HVAC or similar
- understand the principles of air conditioning
- have appropriate F Gas qualification
- be City & Guilds qualified or equivalent.
