Our range of solutions The benefits of utilising Direct Free Cooling Equipment fromWeatherite • Use of filtered outside air for cooling, for the majority of the year • Drastically reduced running time of mechanical cooling system • Substantially increased life time of the cooling system • Extended service interval – lowering on-goingmaintenance costs • N+1 resilience achieved at much lower capital cost • Latest EC fan technology – reducing energy consumption • Latest control techniques – to reduce energy consumption even further • No additional backup system required • Full mechanical cooling back-up incorporated Our packaged, direct outside air Data Centre cooling solutions are available in DX and Chilled Water configurations and are designed to suit each specific installation - ensuring the right cooling requirements are delivered for each individual application. For larger Data Centres Weatherite Packaged External or Rooftop units can be manufactured for capacities up to 400kW, specifically designed to accommodate the client’s exact requirements. FA/DX Cooling Solutions Technical Data Performance Note: 1. Down-flow units are with return air inlet at high level. With inlet at mid level, they are the same (reduced) width as the up-flow versions. 2. Down-flow unit plinths are supplied separately and can be manufactured to suit varying floor void depths. 3. Full sound spectrumdata for each fan is available on request for noise critical installations. Our cooling units can be installed internally in the Data Centre, in a service corridor or external to the Data Centre. They can supply the air into a raised floor, duct supply or flood the room. The return air can either be allowed to exhaust from the room or drawn back to the unit for reuse or exhaust. Cold or hot aisle air containment systems can be deployed to improve the Data Centre energy efficiency even further.
